I came to Dr. Katz's office with severe dental phobia. In fact, I requested, and was given, nitrous oxide on my first appointment. My middle son also has severe anxiety about dentists. I no longer need nitrous, nor do I have any fear of going to the dentist. My son is also fine with every necessary appointment. Dr. Katz and the entire team at the office display such expertise, care and concern for each patient, and patience with each person's fears or anxieties that the dental experience becomes a postive one to look forward to. The quality of work if outstanding. As the work on each tooth begins, Dr. Katz checks every few seconds to be sure that the patient is doing okay and that there is no pain of any kind. Every next step is explained. Kelly, the dental assistant is skilled and uses the same supportive, gentle techniques with her work as does Dr. Katz. The dental hygienist is so kind, and spent a great deal of time with my son explaining each step to aleive his anxiety. We has several dentists before Dr. Katz. None of them were even in the same ballpark for the quality of care for the patient and expertise for the work needed. I told Dr. Katz at my last appointment that I feel he is the best dentist in the United States, and I truly do. The icing on the cake for me was a little thing. I had a dental appointment after having surgery. I was feeling cold. Dr. Katz noticed I was cold, and brought out a fleece blanket he keeps in the office for patients who need it. That one little act of consideration made the visit so much more comfortable. I have recommended him to friends, and I would recommend him to anyone seeking a new dentist. Anne Marie S.

I have been through many Dentist(s) over the years, at least 10 in my life. Dr. Katz Sr. was by far the best I have encountered. Really took the time to do things right and explain exactly what the plan was. Even took the time to indulge my anxieties with regard to needles and pain. Very excellent experience. Dr. Katz Jr. is now at the helm and things could not be better. Very flexible schedules, great, friendly people, great doctor, what more could I ask.
